Rain has dented Suffolk's hopes of a good start to the season |
Rain prevented any play in Suffolk's first Minor Counties Championship game against Bedfordshire at Dunstable. The umpires took the decision to abandon the match on the morning of the third day once it was clear there would be no chance of a result. Play on the first two days was also lost to the weather with both teams being awarded six points. Suffolk's next three-day Championship game is at home to Cumberland beginning on 22 June in Ipswich.
