Reman Services went top of the Shropshire Premier League as they romped to their third victory of the season against Bomere Heath. Chasing Bomere Heath's 112 all out, Wendell Wagner hit an unbeaten 50 to help his side to an eight-wicket win. Wem were bowled out for 195 in their home defeat against Albrighton. The visitors reached their target with six wickets and six overs in hand to go third in the league, while Ludlow beat Welshpool by 66 runs. After Ludlow piled up 229-6, Welshpool were bowled out for 163, Peter Coote doing the main damage with four wickets in 16 overs. Madeley's Stephen Pugh was unbeaten on 78 in his team's six-wicket win over Much Wenlock. Earlier, Dinesh De Silva took three wickets in helping to bowl out Much Wenlock for 145. Eugene McCarney's century dominated Quatt's winning draw against Newtown. McCarney hit 101 to put Quatt in a commanding position on 234 from their 50 overs. But Newtown held on to avoid defeat on 181-6. Shelton (201-7) beat Broseley (153), Ben Chambers taking four wickets from his 10 overs to secure his team's first win of the season.
