Berkshire thrashed Devon by 82 runs to go top of group three of the MCCA Trophy and inflict a first defeat on the south west county side.

Berkshire smashed 308 for 4 off their 50 overs with former Hampshire player Jono McLean hitting 147 not out.

In reply Devon were bowled out for 226 off 47.2 overs. Neil Bettis top scored for Devon with 66.

It means Berkshire go top of the group while Devon slip to third behind Cornwall with two matches left.
