Cornwall kept their MCCA Trophy hopes alive after beating Berkshire by 29 runs at Camborne. Morning rain reduced the game to 40 overs a side as Cornwall batted first after losing the toss. Matt Robins top scored with 59 while Rob Harrison hit 37 not out in Cornwall's total of 207 for 6. Berkshire were dismissed for 178 in reply with Alex Smeeth claiming four late wickets, the win sees Cornwall go second in group three. Cornwall's next group game is away to Herefordshire on Sunday 11 May.
