Louth and Market Deeping kept up their winning starts to the season, Louth beating Caistor by 76 runs and Market Deeping overcoming Lindum by 42 runs. Premier League newcomers Haxey's first game ended in a seven-wicket defeat at home to Bourne. Bracebridge Heath had a winning draw away at Sleaford. Paul Cook, Mark Fell and Jason Vero all made half centuries, as did Sleaford's Warren Nel. There was also a winning draw for Grimsby at home to Messingham. Nettleham's game with Woodhall Spa was abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch at Mulsanne Park.
