Australian Andy Gray believes Shropshire's cricketers will be a force to be reckoned with this summer.

"We have experience, but we also have some very good youngsters," Gray told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"As an ex-pro on the first-class circuit, I hope I can pass on what I've learned and that Shropshire can enjoy some success this year."

John Maunders, the former Leicestershire and England U-19 all-rounder, will debut for the county.

Shropshire lost out on the Minor Counties western title in the final game of last season.
