England cricketer Jeremy Snape passes on tips at Ellesmere College
Leicestershire and England's Jeremy Snape has been passing on coaching tips to talented youngsters in Shropshire.

Snape emphasised, at Ellesmere College, that players need to improve their technique as well as their mental game.

"In helping players with the different areas of their game, you also need to build their confidence," Snape said.

Brothers Alexander and Samuel Owen felt all the pupils had benefitted: "It was a really useful experience," they told BBC Radio Shropshire.

Snape related his experiences of playing in front of a 120,000 crowd in India and the pressure that brings.

"I'm not saying it's quite the same playing for Ellesmere College, but every game brings pressure to every player, whatever the match," he added.

He also took time out to speak at a dinner organised by Shropshire club Frankton.
