Boucher stumped Umar Gul to pass Healy's record in Karachi |
South Africa wicket-keeper Mark Boucher broke Australian Ian Healy's record of 395 Test dismissals during the first Test against Pakistan in Karachi. Boucher stumped Shoaib Malik off spin bowler Paul Harris to equal Healy.
And another stumping off Harris - this time Umar Gul for 12 - saw Boucher become the game's most prolific keeper.
He said: "It's a great feeling for me. Ian Healy's someone that I used to watch on television as a schoolboy and I used to love the way he kept."
Boucher has set the new record in 103 Tests, while Healy played 119.

Gerald Majola, chief executive of Cricket South Africa, said: "Mark has been a stalwart of the Proteas team for over a decade now.
"His world record is a worthy reward for his outstanding achievements as both a wicket-keeper and lower order batsman.
"We wish him all the best for the future and we look forward to seeing him pull well away from those contending for his world title."
Boucher claimed his first Test victim in 1998 - also against Pakistan, catching Aamer Sohail off Shaun Pollock in a drawn match at the Wanderers.

And the 30-year-old went on to play in 75 consecutive Tests before being left out of the tour of India in 2004.
He was subsequently recalled during a home series against England in January 2005 and has been an ever present since then.
The only other wicket-keepers to claim more than 300 victims in Tests are the Australians Adam Gilchrist (381) and Rod Marsh (355).
Healy retired in 1999, Marsh in 1984 while Gilchrist, aged 35, is his country's current wicket-keeper.
