England lose Luke Wright for a duck to the fourth ball of the innings in reply as Pollock opens with a wicket maiden

Kevin Pietersen is run out after losing his bat in a collision with Pollock while attempting a quick single and England are 25-2

Flintoff and Jeremy Snape fail to produce the necessary fireworks though and England finish 19 runs adrift on 135-7

Australia v Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal and Nazimuddin find the going tough early on progreesing to 31-0 off six overs

Ricky Ponting catches both openers as Bangladesh look to push the score on, but are reduced to 65-2 off 11 overs

Brett Lee then takes the first Twenty20 international hat-trick to rip out the middle order as Bangladesh post 123-8

Matthew Hayden crunches two sixes and seven fours as he compiles a 35-ball half century in 88-0 after 10 overs

Gilchrist contributes four sixes in his 43 before he is run out, but Hayden ends 73 not out as Australia win by nine wickets

New Zealand v India: Lou Vincent departs for three after the Black Caps are asked to bat first in their Super Eight clash

But fellow opener Berndon McCullum clubs 45 runs off 31 deliveries before he is third out with the score on 86

Two more wickets fall before Jacob Oram and Craig McMillian add a quickfire 73 to take New Zealand to 164-6

McMillan hits four sixes in his 44 and Daniel Vettori plunders 15 off five balls to help New Zealand post 190 all out

Virender Sehwag and Gautum Gambhir get India's reply off to a flying start, putting on 76 in 35 balls

But Sehwag falls for 40 and when Vettori has Gambhir caught by McCullum on 51, India are 104-3 after 11 overs

Vettori also dismisses Irfan Pathan and Dinesh Karthik - Ajit Agarkar is then run out as India fall an agonising 10 runs short
