Tour match, Hove, day three (close): Sussex 300-6d v India 388-7d & 21-2

Sussex wicket-keeper Andrew Hodd struck his maiden first-class century on a rain-hit penultimate day of the tour match against India at Hove.
Day three did not begin until 1515 BST and Hodd extended his partnership with Robin Martin-Jenkins (42) to 125.
The 36-over stand was the highest for the sixth wicket by Sussex in 10 matches against an India touring team.
Jason Lewry struck twice, claiming the wicket of Mahendra Dhoni as India closed 109 runs ahead at 21-2.
Hodd, a former England U-19 player, did not give a chance after resuming on 21 when the rain relented.
The 23-year-old, revelling in his role behind the stumps after Matt Prior's elevation to the England team, had nevertheless only managed one half-century previously this season, making 73 against Worcestershire at the end of May.
He was stuck on 99 for 13 deliveries before reaching three figures by clipping left-armer RP Singh firmly to the mid-wicket boundary.
Martin-Jenkins had two reprieves en route to his highest first-class score of the season, firstly on six when he was dropped by Dhoni at the wicket off Shanthakumaran Sreesanth.
Shortly after tea an attempted pull gave Anil Kumble a caught and bowled chance but the veteran Indian misjudged the catch.
Kumble gained his revenge when Martin-Jenkins was stumped having lost his balance attempting to work the ball to leg.
Sussex reached 300-6 before declaring 88 behind shortly after 1800 BST to leave India to face an awkward 10 overs.
After Wasim Jaffer was trapped for another low score, Dhoni also failed again when he top-edged left-armer Lewry to long-leg.
