Harris has 17 wickets from four first-class games this season |
South African spin bowler Paul Harris still hopes to return to Warwickshire as an overseas player next season. Harris, 28, has been called up by South Africa for their final two Tests against India - which affects his eligibility for county cricket.
He has played for Warwickshire as a European-qualifed player under the Kolpak employment regulations.
But Harris told the Coventry Telegraph: "Ideally I would hope to carry on playing for Warwickshire."
He added: "I have enjoyed my time with Warwickshire and I am grateful for them giving me the opportunity to get my career to a position where I have been selected to play for my country."
