A disappointing series from Kevin Pietersen and England saw the Hampshire man lose top position in the official one-day international batting rankings. Scores of 33, nine and zero dropped Pietersen down below Ricky Ponting and just above another Australian, the prolific left-hander Mike Hussey.
India's wicket-keeper/batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni moved up to fifth.
And West Indies' man of the series Shivnarine Chanderpaul is up four places to 13th thanks to his 202 runs.
There was no change in the top 10 of the bowling rankings, but Daren Powell has leapt to 19th from 31st.
