No result Johnson celebrates bowling Irfan Pathan for a duck |
India slumped to 35-5 chasing a revised target of 170 before rain ended an intriguing one-day match against Australia in Kuala Lumpur. Fast bowler Mitchell Johnson had ruffled India's top order with career-best figures of 4-11.
Earlier all-rounder Shane Watson hit 79, his highest one-day score, as Australia were all-out for 244.
India were 16-0 before a rain break but then lost five wickets in three overs before the rain returned to save them.
The match was declared a no result, much to India's relief.
Rahul Dravid was the first to go when he edged Mitchell to Damien Martyn at cover on six and Mitchell bowled Irfan Pathan for a first-ball duck.

A terrible mix-up between Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar saw Sehwag run out for eight and Tendulkar was back in the pavilion soon after when he thick-edged to wicket-keeper Brad Haddin for 12.
Yuvraj Singh, playing his first match of the tournament after recovering from a virus, did not trouble the scorers as he became Mitchell's fourth victim as the rain fell for a third time and ultimately put paid to any further action.
Earlier Michael Clarke smashed five fours and a six in his 64 but otherwise Australia batted below par.
India pace bowler Munaf Patel took 3-53 in his 10 overs and economical spinner Harbhajan Singh bagged 2-24.
Australia got off to a bright start after winning the toss with Phil Jaques being partnered by all-rounder Watson.
They put on 64 for the first wicket although in the seventh over, Watson survived a missed catch when he edged an Ajit Agarkar ball to Harbhajan Singh at mid-off.
Jaques then fell to Patel for 25 and Australia lost captain Ricky Ponting for 19 and Damien Martyn for four.
Australia lead the table with one win and one no result, West Indies are second with one win and one defeat and India are bottom with a no result and a defeat.
