First one-day international, Colombo: Sri Lanka v India 11-0 (3.4 overs)

India and Sri Lanka were again frustrated by rain as the first one-day international had to be abandoned. India were 11-0 off 3.4 overs on Friday when play began four and a half hours late before bad light and more monsoon showers forced them to finish.
They then tried to play on Saturday, the reserve day, but a heavy shower just before play flooded the outfield.
The second game of the three-match series is set to be played on Sunday, weather permitting.
India captain Rahul Dravid spoke about the difficulties of remaining focused and match fit.
He said: "It is obviously not the ideal situation.
"It is frustrating sitting in hotel rooms with nothing to do but one really does not have control over the weather.
"We are doing our best to stay match-fit by spending time in the gym and the pool but everyone wants cricket to be played."
The matches have been organised to replace the tri-series that was cancelled after South Africa pulled out because of security reasons.
