Tait ruled out of Bangladesh tour
Shaun Tait
Tait suffered the injury bowling in the nets
Australia fast bowler Shaun Tait will miss the forthcoming tour of Bangladesh because of a back injury.

It is the latest blow to the side following injuries to Justin Langer and Michael Kasprowicz in South Africa.

Tait, who did not play in any of the Tests, suffered his injury while bowling in the nets in Johannesburg.

A scan showed no major damage but it was decided he should return to Australia, missing the two-Test series that starts in Falullah on Sunday.

Tait blazed onto the international scene during the Ashes series with extra pace and an unorthodox action.

But he missed much of the Australian season to undergo shoulder surgery and has not featured for his country since September.

Kasprowicz, who was recalled for this series, suffered a back injury during the third Test in Johannesburg and only bowled two overs in South Africa's second innings.

And Langer was concussed when hit by a ball from Makhaya Ntini on Saturday.

The fitness of both men for the rest of the Test and the Bangladesh trip is subject to ongoing assessment, said a team spokesman.
