Ireland's cricket coach Adrian Birrell, has been named Phillips manager of the month for October following the country's Inter-continental Cup win. It is the first time that someone from cricket has won the award.
Ireland won the cup for the first time with a six-wicket victory over Kenya in the final in Namibia.
Earlier in the year, Birrell's side secured a place in the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies thanks to a good run in the ICC Trophy.
