Zimbabwe content with second win
Tatedna Taibu and Christopher Mpofu
Taibu celebrates victory with team-mate Christopher Mpofu
Zimbabwe captain Tatenda Taibu was satisfied with his team's performance as they secured a 2-0 lead with three matches to play against Bangladesh.

"We worked hard and stayed positive to execute our plan," he said.

"Bangladesh lost wickets at crucial times and our bowlers bowled well, which made the difference."

Rival skipper Habibul Bashar hit 44 from 62 balls to put his team 130-2 but was run out by a direct hit, which Taibu described as the turning point.

Bashar observed that it was the end of the Zimbabwe innings that saw the match drift away from Bangladesh.

With Taibu and Elton Chigumbura hitting three sixes apiece, 93 runs were added from the final 10 overs.

"Our bowlers gave away too many runs in the final overs, which cost us the match," Bashar said. "It put our batsmen under pressure."

He retained hope for the rest of the series and insisted: "The next match will be do or die and we still have a chance to make a comeback."
