Flintoff made a rare appearance for Lancs in the Twenty20 finals day |
England hero Andrew Flintoff will get a Lancashire benefit in 2006 and has pledged some of the funds he raises will go to charity. Flintoff made his Lancashire debut 10 years ago and starts his 50th Test for England on Thursday.
"I'm delighted the club has bestowed such an honour on me," the popular all-rounder said.
"I'm looking forward to helping raise plenty of funds for worthwhile causes next year."
The charities he will support will be "both national and local," Lancashire County Cricket Club said in a statement.
