Man-of-the-match Paul Collingwood put his spectacular all-round performance against Bangladesh down to new roles for England and county side Durham. Collingwood became the first man ever to score a century and take six wickets in a one-day international.
England beat Bangladesh by 168 runs after hitting 391-4 and dismissing them for 223.
Collingwood said: "It was just one of those days when everything came together for me."
He added: "I was originally brought in as a 'finisher' and now I'm at number four.
"In the past, I haven't had the opportunity to do a lot of bowling but I've bowled 100 overs in the four-day stuff for Durham this season."

Only West Indies great Viv Richards, with 119 and 5-41 against New Zealand in 1986/87, has come close to Collingwood's all-round achievement.
And no England player has ever taken six wickets in a one-day innings before.
"The boys told me about beating Viv Richards' record when I got back to the dressing room. That is good company to be in," Collingwood said.
"They have been ribbing me. Maybe I can do it again someday."
Marcus Trescothick, who stood in for Michael Vaughan after he left the field with a groin injury, praised the England team performance, singling out Collingwood and Chris Tremlett, who took 4-32 on debut, for special praise.
"It was important to bat first and get a good total on the board," said the England opener, who stood in as skipper after Michael Vaughan left the field with an injury.
"Chris Tremlett started really well and it was a fantastic day for Paul.
"A hundred runs and a six-for - you don't get that too many times so he's got to make the most of it."
Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar remained upbeat and is already looking forward to another meeting with Australia following last week's historic victory.
"England batted very well, but it's a pity we couldn't have batted out our 50 overs," he said.
Bangladesh play the Aussies again this Saturday and Bashar added: "Hopefully we will have a good match and beat them again - we're looking forward to it."
