Former Hampshire captain Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie has been awarded the OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours. Ingleby-Mackenzie, 71, led the county to the 1961 Championship title and their flamboyant style of cricket earned them the nickname "Happy Hants".
The wicket-keeper/batsman also represented the MCC, and made more than 12,000 first-class runs in 15 years.
A successful businessman, he went on to become president of the MCC and was named Hampshire president in 2002.
Ingleby-Mackenzie was also well known for his penchant for the good life - he mixed in high society and counted Lord Lucan among his friends.
His bon viveur lifestyle was memorably encapsulated in a television interview when he was asked for his recipe for success.
"Wine, women and song," he replied.
