Mahela Jayawardene was at the forefront of a Sri Lankan run-feast as the tourists moved into a strong position on day two against Zimbabwe A.
Jayawardene scored 113 in a team total of 461, the Sri Lankans establishing a first-innings lead of 167.
At stumps in Harare, Zimbabwe A were still 149 runs in arrears on 28-1.
Heath Streak, who with 14 other white players has for the past month been at loggerheads with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union, returned 1-62 from 23 overs.
Resuming play on 66-2, Sri Lanka's third wicket took the score along to 152 before Kumar Sangakkara fell to Sean Ervine for 95.
Thilan Samaraweera then added 138 for the fourth-wicket with Jayawardene before falling to Streak for 97.
Jayawardene was next to go, his 106-ball knock which included 17 fours and two sixes coming to an end with Trevor Gripper's lbw verdict.
Thilina Kandamby (52) and Prasanna Jayawardene (40) made solid contributions down the order to swell the visitors' advantage.
Their good day was capped when Farveez Maharoof had Stuart Matsikenyeri caught behind for 10, leaving Zimbabwe A with a lot to do on the final day.
