Asher Zaidi made 202 for a Pakistan Board Chairman's XI as they drew a two-day match against Zimbabwe. The home side replied to Zimbabwe's 215 all out with 398-2 as Zaidi hit a six and 29 fours.
"I was positive right from the word go and now I am hopeful my innings will push my career forward," he said.
Leg-spinner Graeme Cremer took both wickets for Zimbabwe, who have one more warm-up game before a triangular series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Zaidi shared in three seperate century stands - 158 with Asif Zakir (61), 117 with Shahid Yousuf (36) and 136 unbroken with Faisal Iqbal (86 not out).
