He is enlisting the help of sporting and entertainment personalities and the public in an attempt to set the world record in a 24-hour continuous relay. None stop 100m sprints will take place at Crystal Palace athletics track for 24 hours on 16 October.
The Surrey all-rounder is attempting to raise �5m over five years for the Ben Hollioake Memorial Fund, in memory of his younger brother who was killed in a car crash in 2002.
Last year Adam, who retires from the game at the end of the county season, undertook an epic charity trek from Scotland to Morocco.
His record relay attempt is being supported by sprint legend Linford Christie, England rugby star Matt Dawson, Anthea Turner as well as many Surrey and England cricketers.
Hell's Kitchen chef and pop star Matt Goss will open the event and run the first 100m.
The relay is open to anyone over the age of six and will start at 8am on 16 October, finishing at 8am the next morning.
