Tour match, Harare, day three:Bangladesh 199 & 174 beat Zimbabwe A 183 & 161 by 29 runs Medium-pacer Tariq Aziz Khan pressed his claims for a first Test cap by bowling Bangladesh to a 29-run win over Zimbabwe A in Harare.
Khan achieved career-best figures of 6-46 as the home side were bowled out for 161 after being set 191 to win.
Bangladesh had earlier been dismissed for 174 in their second innings, adding only four to their overnight score of 170-7.
The first Test against the senior Zimbabwe team starts on Thursday.
Khan has appeared in five one-day internationals, the last in April last year, but has yet to be given a chance in the five-day game.
He did his chances no harm by nipping out Trevor Gripper and Richard Sims, but was denied a hat-trick when he bowled Stuart Matsikenyeri with a no-ball.
Vusi Sibanda (41) and Matsikenyeri (22) revived the home side with a third wicket stand of 55.
But Sibanda's dismissal, lbw to Manjurul Islam Rana, sparked a collapse which saw four wickets go down for 14 runs, three of them to Khan.
He had Doug Marillier caught behind for four, bowled Gavin Ewing first ball and then did the same to Travis Friend.
Home captain Alester Maregwede batted for over two hours for 41 before Khan found a way through his defence to leave Zimbabwe A on 133-9.
Blessing Mahwire (12) and Doug Hondo (15 not out)held up Bangladesh with a last-ditch stand of 28 before Mahwire gave a return catch to Rana which ended the game.
