For anyone and everyone involved in an Adelaide Oval Test match, the experience is simply awesome.

Like the Lord's or Barbados Test matches there is a unique atmosphere and it is one I, like all of my teammates, look forward to every year.
The whole state of South Australia seems to embrace the event. Testimony to this is the turn out of hundreds of excited spectators to our practice sessions over the last two days.
Young and old, male and female, the public has come out in masses to watch the net and fielding sessions in the hope of getting a feel for the upcoming contest.
Like the throngs of English supporters last summer, the Indian supporters have at least equalled the numbers of our faithful admirers.
The traditional festive atmosphere of this fantastic Test match started early this year and it is wonderful to be a part of it.
As has become standard practice over the years, Adelaide Oval curator Les Burdett and his men have the ground looking a picture.

Talking to Les, he seemed pleased and proud of the playing surface for this second Test of the series, believing there should be plenty of runs for the batsmen, but with enough assistance for any hard-working bowler.
After the first Test we have spent plenty of time analysing the Indian top order and how we can better deal with them this time around.
There is no doubt we were a bit off the mark in terms of our bowling and intensity in Brisbane, but we are ready to make amends over the next five days.
There has been a lot of talk about our bowling attack without the likes of Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne and Brett Lee in the team.
Losing class players like this would hurt any team but we have confidence in our current bowlers.
Nathan Bracken, Andy Bichel and Brad Williams have had success against India in the one-day arena and have everything to play for, while Jason Gillespie and Stuart MacGill are world-class performers.

A couple of the bowlers will have a restless night wondering whether or not they are in or out of the team. Having been in their shoes before it is not a great feeling.
Situations like this are where strong team dynamics become important; fortunately we have this in this team.
Over the last few days there has been plenty of talk about who the best batsman in the world is at the moment.
Everyone has an opinion, but for me the exciting thing is that Matty Hayden, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and more are all on show in this series.
With such amazing batting talent on display there is sure to be fantastic entertainment to match the addictive atmosphere of the Adelaide Oval Test match.
There is growing expectation about the remainder of this series.
For the last few years we have craved this type of challenge and now that it is upon us we have the opportunity to see exactly where we are without a couple of our superstars.
