Shane Warne has been awarded a bowling prize, even though he his serving a drugs ban.

The 33-year-old Australian was honoured for best Test bowling performance of the year by Wisden.

Warne has been banned from playing until February 2004 after he tested positive for a banned diuretic before this year's World Cup.

His award was for taking 27 wickets at an average of 12.67, helping Australia to rout Pakistan 3-0 in October 2002.
