County Championship D1, Edgbaston.
Warwickshire 342-6 v LancashireCenturies from Jonathan Trott and Dougie Brown rescued Warwickshire from early trouble against Lancashire at Edgbaston.
Needing at least a draw to erase any lingering relegation worries, the Bears lost four early wickets.
Glen Chapple claimed three victims in his opening spell, including home skipper Mike Powell with the fourth ball of the innings.

But any regrets Powell may have had over opting to bat were erased as Trott - in the side for the injured Jim Troughton - shared a partnership of 216 for the sixth wicket with Brown.
The South African-born batsman took 175 balls to reach three figures, with 14 fours and a six.
And Brown bettered that pace by eight deliveries before he was forced to retire hurt shortly before the close because of a calf problem.
Kyle Hogg finally bowled Trott for 126 - eight short of his first-class best - as Warwickshire reached stumps at 342-6.
