Guha lands BBC award
Guha takes a wicket against India
Guha proved a real find for the England Women's team
Teenager Isa Guha of the England Women's cricket team has been named as BBC Asian Sports personality of the year.

The 17-year-old made her England debut during a Tri-Series against India and New Zealand during the summer, taking eight wickets in four games, including three in the final.

Guha will tour to Australia with the Under-19 team this month, but cannot stay on with the senior side in January because of school exam commitments.

She cites former England all-rounder Ian Botham as her inspiration.

"He played with real passion and freedom and was very exciting to watch. Hopefully I have some of those qualities too."

Guha received her award at BBC Asian's Mega Mela festival at the Birmingham NEC.
