Symonds replaces Lehmann
Andrew Symonds in action for Queensland
Symonds has been drafted in to replace Lehmann
Andrew Symonds will replace Darren Lehmann in Australia's one-day cricket squad for the forthcoming triangular series in Kenya, selectors said on Monday.

Lehmann suffered a broken little finger on his left hand while playing in a match for Yorkshire and underwent a fitness test in Melbourne on Sunday.

He will undergo another check in two weeks, chairman of selectors Trevor Hohns.

Lehmann, 32, was named as part of a 14-man squad to be captained by Ricky Ponting for the series against Pakistan and Kenya.

While Symonds will go to Kenya he will not be part of Australia's squad for the ICC Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka next month.

He will instead join the Australia A squad for its series against South Africa A in South Africa, Hohns said.

The triangular series in Kenya starts on 29 August in Nairobi.
