Bangladesh A secure draw
Inzamam-ul-Haq
Inzamam did not bat but took a rare wicket
Tour match: Savar: Pakistan (312-3 dec. and 242-7 dec.) drew with Bangladesh A (210 and 53-3)

Pakistan's warm-up match against Bangladesh A ended in a draw after the visitors gave their players batting practice rather than go for a win.

Openers Taufiq Umar and Shadab Kabir, who were unbeaten overnight, pressed on to add 62 for the first wicket, with Kabir scoring a fluent 92.

Kabir missed out on a century when he lofted a delivery from spinner Fahim Muntasir to substitute Mohammad Alamgir at long-on.

But no other Pakistan batsman passed 50 despite several making good starts.

Abdur Razzaq chipped in with 42 and Umar scored 36, but Bangladesh A's bowlers stuck well to their task.

First innings century-makers Inzamam-ul-Haq and Yousuf Youhana did not bat as Pakistan finally declared on 242-7 at tea, a lead of 344.

Inzamam made a suprise appearance with the ball to take a rare wicket, snaring Hannan Sarkar, as Bangladesh A made a hash of their second innings.

But with so little time remaining the match petered out into a draw with Bangladesh A finishing on 53-3.

Pakistan captain Waqar Younis revealed that Wasim Akram would be fit in time for the first Test starting on Wednesday, and said he was satisfied with his team's performance in the warm-up match.
