Sussex v Kent. Match abandoned. 1 pt each.

Sussex hopes of extending their lead at the top of the South group were dashed after the FL t20 game against Kent was abandoned.

Persistent rain for much of the day made the decision a formality for umpires Nigel Llong and Neil Bainton.

The Sharks are still well placed to reach the quarter-finals, having won five of their seven games so far.

Kent will hope the momentum that had brought them two successive wins continues against Middlesex next week.
