Craddock's family are in Delhi to watch the Games |
Wolverhampton-born teenager Charlotte Craddock was happy to score a goal as England's hockey team beat Wales 4-1 at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. The 19-year-old Bristol University student completed England's scoring after Crista Cullen netted a hat-trick. "I probably should have scored one more, but it's always nice to get on the scoresheet," Craddock told the BBC. "The facilities are great and the village is amazing, so it's really great to be here." Craddock is a former pupil of Wolverhampton Grammar School, and was the youngest member of the Great Britain hockey team to travel to Beijing in 2008. Her goal on Tuesday to make it 4-0 came as she rounded the keeper after intercepting a poor par. England now move on to face Canada in their next pool game on Wednesday morning (0600 BST).
