An estimated 30 million Filipinos watched their hero Manny Pacquiao fight Erik Morales on Saturday

As expected, Pacquiao came out swinging from the opening bell and caught Morales with some good shots early on

But Pacquiao suffered a horrific cut in the fifth round as Morales started to control the fight behind his jab

Morales weathered the early storm and started to land some telling right hands as the fight wore on

Pacquiao came on strong in the final round but Morales looked to have done enough to take the decision

Pacquiao lost 115-113 on all three judges' scorecards, only his third defeat as a professional

Morales, or "El Terrible", has still only lost two fights out of 50 and could fight nemesis Marco Antonio Barrera again soon
