Super-bantamweight Rendall Munroe is racking up the air miles as he prepares for his WBC title bout against Toshiaki Nishioka in Japan later this month.
The Leicester fighter, 30, flies to Tokyo on Tuesday and has 12 days to prepare for the fight on 24 October.
Munroe has been training hard at his gym in Alfreton and has also been in the Algarve on a 10-day training camp.
"I'm excited but I'm enjoying the moment - it's the best way," Munroe told BBC East Midlands Today.
