The Super Six brings together the world's top super-middleweights. Each of the 6 boxers fights 3 times over the coming months, with the 4 with the most points making the semis. Scoring system: KO = 3pts; Points win = 2pts; Draw = 1pt. So who are the 6?
'King' Arthur Abraham - unbeaten in 30 fights (24 KOs) - has fought mainly at middleweight. The Armenian-born 29-year-old has held IBF middleweight title since 2005. He fights Jermain Taylor in Berlin on 17 October.
Jermain 'Bad Intentions' Taylor, 31, beat Bernard Hopkins to become undisputed middleweight champion in 2005. An Olympic bronze medallist in 2000, he lost to Carl Froch in his last fight, sensationally KO'd in the 12th round.
The unbeaten Andre Ward has the tough task of fighting Mikkel Kessler in Oakland, California on 21 November. The 25-year-old won light-heavyweight gold at the 2004 Olympics and has won 13 of his 20 pro fights by KO.
Mikkel Kessler has just one blemish on his record - a points loss to Joe Calzaghe in 2007. The 30-year-old Dane, who has an English mother, is still one of the most feared super-middleweights and is the current WBA king.
Carl Froch, nicknamed 'The Cobra', is unbeaten in 25 professional fights with 20 KOs on his record. The 32-year-old puts his WBC title on the line against Andre Dirrell in his home city of Nottingham on 17 October.
Andre Dirrell won a middleweight bronze at the 2004 Olympics and has won all 18 of his professional fights. The 27-year-old southpaw, nicknamed 'The Matrix', has 13 KOs on his record and is trained by his grandfather.
