Nikolay Valuev (left) and Britain's David Haye will meet at the Nuremberg Arena, Germany on 7 November for the Russian's WBA heavyweight crown. Predictably, the fight has been dubbed David v Goliath
The 28-year-old Haye will be giving up almost a foot in height to the 7ft 2in Valuev, and seven stone in weight. However, there have been greater height and weight disparities in heavyweight history
Valuev has been beaten just once in 52 professional fights, by Uzbek Ruslan Chagaev in 2007, and has 34 knockouts on his resume. Last time out he claimed a controversial decision over Evander Holyfield
Haye has just one defeat from 23 pro fights and is a former undisputed world cruiserweight champion. However, he has fought only twice as a bona fide heavyweight, and not since a win over Monte Barrett last November
The freakish nature of the fight is sure to inject some much-needed hype into a depressed heavyweight division. Were Haye to win, he would become Britain's first heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis
