Retired boxing champion Joe Calzaghe has ruled out a return to the ring.

The undefeated two-weight world champion, who won his court battle with ex-promoter Frank Warren, says it was "time to turn the page and move on".

"People think I'm coming back but I can tell you now that's not going to happen," said the 37-year-old Welshman.

"I'm pretty happy staying out of the ring. I've done everything I want to do in boxing so it's game over. It is time to turn the page and move on."

Calzaghe, who finished with a 46-fight unblemished professional record, ruled the super-middleweight division for almost 11 years after beating Chris Eubank on points to the WBO crown in 1997.

The southpaw stepped up to light-heavyweight for his final two fights when he beat American greats Bernard Hopkins on a split decision in Las Vegas followed by comprehensive victory over Roy Jones Jr at Madison Square Gardens.

Veteran Hopkins has called for a rematch but Calzaghe dismissed the idea saying he had "no unfinished business".

"I've got Bernard Hopkins offering me big money but if you are just motivated by the money that's when you are going to get hurt," he said.

"He says it's unfinished business but it's only unfinished business for him. He just has to live with the fact that he lost, which is tough.

"I didn't fight the best fight that time and I still won. ."

Asked if there was anything that could tempt him back, he replied: "No there is nothing. In my weight division there are no great fighters.

"The biggest fights are with the ones I've already beaten."
