Froch retained his British super-middleweight title in November |
Russia's Dennis Inkin has pulled out of his WBC super-middleweight eliminator against Carl Froch on 10 May. It is the second time the fight has been scrapped - Inkin pulled out of the original 29 March date with a virus. Froch, 30, has not fought since last November and promoter Mick Hennessy is searching for a replacement opponent. Bradford's Junior Witter defends his WBC light-welterweight belt for a third time against America's Timothy Bradley on the same bill. Nottingham's Froch is unbeaten in 22 fights as a professional and had hoped to be fighting for a world title later this year. But with Wales' undisputed super-middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe expected to retire in the near future, Froch remains well-placed to launch an assault on the division.
