Barnes stopped James Moore in the light-flyweight final |
Paddy Barnes was one of three Ulster winners at the Irish Amateur Boxing Finals night in Dublin. Barnes, who is the only Irish boxer to have qualified for this year's Olympics, stopped former champion James Moore in the light-flyweight decider.
Dominant Barnes led 13-0 when Moore's camp threw in the towel in round four.
Cavan boxer John Joe Nevin and Holy Trinity's Cathal McMonagle claimed titles but Anthony Cacace and Ruairi Dalton suffered defeats.

Holy Trinity boxer Cacace suffered a controversial 6-4 loss against Ross Hickey in the lightweight decider while Dalton, competing for the St John's club in Belfast, was beaten by Gorey's Shane Cox in the flyweight final.
McMonagle retained his super-heavyweight title on a walkover after Alex Vedernikov had to pull out of the bout because of a family illness.
John Joe Nevin defeated Portlaoise's TJ Doheny in a dour bantamweight final.
Other winners included Darren Sutherland and Kenneth Egan, who defeated Kieran Curtis 19-4 to land his eighth successive light-heavyweight title.
