Howard Eastman's hopes of another crack at world honours were wrecked by Wayne Elcock in Coventry on Friday. Birmingham's Elcock took away the Battersea Bomber's British middleweight title with an unanimous points win.
The defeat over 12 hard-fought rounds left the 36-year-old Eastman facing an uncertain future.
Elcock, 32, becomes the first British boxer to beat Eastman in a 51-fight professional career which includes two world title attempts.
