Witter insists he is not looking beyond beating New Yorker Harris |
Junior Witter is expecting a world title fight worthy of the name when he meets Vivian Harris on 7 September. The WBC light welterweight champion makes his second defence against the former WBA belt-holder in Doncaster.
"We are both boxers, not brawlers. He uses his range, I use my speed, and speed is going to come out on top on the night," said Bradford fighter, 34.
"I think Harris is better than the other world champions in my division, Gavin Rees and Paulie Malignaggi."
Witter, who has won 35 of his 38 fights, is hoping victory over Harris will lead to a world title unification fight or a clash with old rival Ricky Hatton.

"I've got a tough fight in front of me which I'm not looking past, but being undisputed world champion is a big ambition of mine," he said.
"If Ricky does not step up to the plate then I would love to fight [IBF champion] Malignaggi and take him out at Madison Square Garden.
"I don't mind going to New York to fight him, I'll fight wherever, it doesn't bother me. They build these Americans up and I'm ready to knock them down.
"Malignaggi looked really good beating Lovemore N'dou for the IBF title, and it would be a great fight."
