Scottish super featherweight Alex Arthur has secured a WBO interim title fight against Georgian Koba Gogoladze in Cardiff this summer. The 28-year-old from Edinburgh will face Gogoladze at the Cardiff International Arena on 7 July.
Southpaw Gogoladze, 34, defeated current British champion Carl Johanneson four years ago - but has never fought for a world title.
Arthur withdrew from a title bout against Alexander Hrulev in March.
The Scot damaged his elbow during training.
Current super featherweight champion Joan Guzman was due to move up to lightweight to meet Australian Michael Katsidis.
But a hand injury earlier this month prevented him from facing Katsidis.
Promoter Frank Warren said he hoped to see Arthur claim a world title in the near future.
"There's already been talk of fights between the likes of Kevin Mitchell and Arthur, Amir Khan and Graham Earl, Nicky Cook and Dery Matthews," said Warren.
"I want to make that talk a reality. I've got fighters into great positions, fighting for proper titles."
