Newport's Mo Nasir stole the show at the Welsh ABA senior championships in Rhondda Leisure Centre.
Nasir, 21, stopped holder Gary Jones in the third to regain the light flyweight title he held in 2004 and 2005.
The St Joseph's fighter vacated the crown last year to concentrate on the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, where he claimed a bronze medal.
Elsewhere, there was success for Splott brothers Andrew and Lee Selby at flyweight and lightweight.
