Ian Napa claimed the vacant British bantamweight title with a unanimous points win over Jason Booth at the Robin Park Centre in Wigan on Friday. The 29-year-old Napa, born in New Zealand but now based in London, got the nod from all three judges.
Phil Edwards scored the 12-round bout 117-113, Howard Foster 115-113 and Dave Parris 116-113.
The win was revenge for Napa, who was beaten by his 29-year-old Nottingham opponent almost seven years ago.
