British heavyweight champion Scott Gammer's defence against Danny Williams will be at the Cwrt Herbert Sport Centre in Neath on 2 March. The venue can only hold 1,200 fans, but promoter Paul Boyce wanted Gammer close to his west Wales fan base.
Port Talbot's Afon Lido was unavailable and Carmarthen's outdoor Showground unsuitable for a March fight.
"I'm excited, it's a small venue but I'm sure that it will sell out fast," said Boyce.
"Danny knows that if he beats Scott then he is marketable again, but Scott can beat Danny and then we will look to bring Audley Harrison or Matt Skelton to Wales."
The bout has been put back from the original 16 February date - when it was set for the Afan Lido - for Williams to recover from the injuries sustained in his defeat to Harrison.
Williams remains the number-one contender for the belt despite that three-round loss.
The 33-year-old was fighting Vitali Klitschko for the WBC world title in Las Vegas just two years ago, but after successive failures against Skelton and Harrison he will know that this could be a last shot at the big time.
Gammer, 30, rejected a "substantial offer" to fight Harrison in London on 17 February.
