Commonwealth heavyweight champion Matt Skelton will defend his title against fellow Briton Audley Harrison at London's ExCel Arena on 9 December. Bedford's Skelton, 39, won the belt in July when he scored a unanimous points victory over compatriot Danny Williams.
Londoner Harrison, 34, is attempting to get his career back on track after a series of disappointing performances.
The former Olympic champion held the Commonwealth belt before losing it to Williams in December 2005.
Harrison's reputation as a top-level heavyweight took a hammering following that fight.
A further defeat by unheralded American Dominick Guinn in his following bout lead talk of possible retirement.
But Harrison, who won gold at the 2000 Games in Sydney, has been given the opportunity to redeem himself by Skelton, who has been unable to agree a world title challenge.
The clash will serve as chief support to Scott Harrison's return after a prolonged ring absence while Amir Khan's first eight-round bout will also feature on the card.
Super-featherweight prospect Kevin Mitchell will challenge for the vacant Commonwealth title at York Hall in Bethnal Green against Ghana's George Ashie on 28 October.
