Khan has impressed throughout his nascent pro career |
British boxing tyro Amir Khan admits he knows almost nothing about Colin Bain, the Scottish boxer he will take on in Cardiff on 8 July. Promoter Frank Warren regards Bain, beaten just once in 11 fights, as another step up for the 19-year-old.
Khan said: "Hopefully we'll get some videos of Bain in action and I'll sit down with my trainer, Oliver Harrison, and study them."
Top of the bill is the rematch between Danny Williams and Matt Skelton.
Khan is thrilled to be back in the Welsh capital, having had a tremendous reception when he beat Baz Carey at Cardiff International Arena in his second contest.
"It's going to be brilliant fighting there again, particularly in the stadium," he said.
"It's a shame Joe Calzaghe isn't fighting, but it's still a great card to be on."
Super-middleweight star Calzaghe was forced to pull out of the promotion with injury.
