Williams took the bout at short notice |
British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Danny Williams was not at his best as he beat Adnan Serin in a hastily arranged bout in Belfast. Williams, whose next clash is a rematch with Matt Skelton, only took the fight after Scott Harrison withdrew from Saturday's bill at the King's Hall.
Serin retired on his stool after three rounds, suffering from an eye wound.
"It was all about tuning up for the fight," said Williams. "Next time I'll make no mistake and knock him out."
