Boxers Mo Nasir, Darren Edwards and Kevin Evans have been named in Wales' team for next March's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. A series of box-offs culminating at Swansea Sportsmen's Club on 18 October will determine the rest of the team.
The trio have also been selected for the World Championship in China (11-21 November), and will train in Thailand from the end of October.
Evans has asked permission to take part in the box-offs to get competition.
The Carmarthen man is seeking an edge before heading to Finland for the Tammer multi-nations (19-24 October).
