Skelton is a former world champion kick boxer |
British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Matt Skelton will fight Argentine Fabio Eduardo Moli for the vacant WBU title on 25 February. It is understood that Skelton would have to vacate the British title were he to prevail at Wembley.
But Moli's promoter Mario Arano has promised him a tough contest.
"Moli is big, rough and totally nuts, perhaps a little too rough for Skelton, who my man sees as a cow on the way to the slaughter house," Arano said.
"When I left Moli, he was wrestling with bulls on his ranch because all the sparring partners have packed up and left after he knocked them all out."
"Moli is ruthless and will do anything to win. He doesn't care where he hits Sketlon or with what; elbows, head, high or low.
"We are aware that Skelton has fought on the K1 circuit but I can guarantee him that he has never faced anybody like Moli
"He's been badly advised to take this fight. Moli will make mincemeat out of him."
Skelton last defended his titles against Keith Long at Bethnal Green's York Hall in November.
He sprang on to the world stage last April by beating Michael Sprott, who had in turn dethroned Danny Williams.
